  • Legal Secretary/Receptionist

    We are seeking a Legal Secretary to become a part of our team! You will provide overall support to the attorney's business needs.

    Responsibilities:

    • Answer phone calls
    • Schedule appointments, manage calendar
    • Open client files
    • Prepare letters and mailings
    • Transcribe dictation
    • Make copies
    • Organize and manage legal documents and client files

    Qualifications:

    • Ability to answer telephone
    • Ability to screen telephone calls
    • Ability to schedule appointments
    • Familiarity with legal terminology and documentation
    • Proficiency in word processing software including MS Office
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills

    Job Type: Full-time

  • Associate Attorney

    We are seeking an Associate Attorney to become a part of our team! We are a small firm focusing our practice on: estate/trust planning; estate/trust administration; representation of small businesses; and business transactions. You will represent clients in legal proceedings, draft legal documents, and advise clients on legal transactions. A significant amount of your practice will be devoted to estate/trust planning and estate/trust administration.

    Responsibilities:

    • Meeting with clients to discuss estate planning and other legal needs
    • Prepare estate planning documents
    • Represent fiduciaries in estate/trust administrations
    • Represent clients in court or before government agencies
    • Prepare and draft other legal documents on behalf of clients
    • Advise clients on business and legal transactions
    • Comply with all legal standards and regulations
    • Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law

    ​​Qualifications:

    • 2+ years experience as a practicing attorney (preferred but not required)
    • Experience in estate planning and estate administration practice areas
    • Familiarity with various legal documents
    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
    • Ability to build rapport with clients
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to multi-task
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Current license to practice law in Tennessee

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $70,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
