Legal Secretary/Receptionist
We are seeking a Legal Secretary to become a part of our team! You will provide overall support to the attorney's business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls
- Schedule appointments, manage calendar
- Open client files
- Prepare letters and mailings
- Transcribe dictation
- Make copies
- Organize and manage legal documents and client files
Qualifications:
- Ability to answer telephone
- Ability to screen telephone calls
- Ability to schedule appointments
- Familiarity with legal terminology and documentation
- Proficiency in word processing software including MS Office
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work with a team

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Associate Attorney
We are seeking an Associate Attorney to become a part of our team! We are a small firm focusing our practice on: estate/trust planning; estate/trust administration; representation of small businesses; and business transactions. You will represent clients in legal proceedings, draft legal documents, and advise clients on legal transactions. A significant amount of your practice will be devoted to estate/trust planning and estate/trust administration.
Responsibilities:
- Meeting with clients to discuss estate planning and other legal needs
- Prepare estate planning documents
- Represent fiduciaries in estate/trust administrations
- Represent clients in court or before government agencies
- Prepare and draft other legal documents on behalf of clients
- Advise clients on business and legal transactions
- Comply with all legal standards and regulations
- Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law
Qualifications:
- 2+ years experience as a practicing attorney (preferred but not required)
- Experience in estate planning and estate administration practice areas
- Familiarity with various legal documents
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong attention to detail
- Current license to practice law in Tennessee
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
